Sara contacted me in May with exciting news - their adoption was complete - two years before they expected! They had just brought home a 6-month old baby girl when they received even more news - a surprise little boy was ready for them as well! They were now the proud parents of a 2-year old, 6-month old, and 3-month old.
I wanted to remember what they look like at this stage. Our hands are so full that we find we take so few pictures - and we have none of us all together.
Winston is a busy 2-year old - full of laughter and movement and captivated by things with wheels.
Eleanor is ready to move - but also very content to hang out and smile sweetly for her pictures!
It makes me so happy to see them show each other affection. We weren't expecting to have such a big family so it is this added bonus I never thought about.
Young Elliott has the most infectious smile you ever did see . . .
Though we were married a very long time before we started, we had 3 kids in 2 years. This is a hard stage when no one can do anything for themselves. You never feel like you're fully meeting everyone's needs, especially your own. I like to joke that it's been a good day if I got to brush my teeth.
I know Mama and Daddy have their hands full - but it sure seems like they have things under control. I had so much fun laughing along with them as we captured a few moments of these years of craziness for them!
