I had so much fun meeting Louise and her mama, Shelby! We spent the morning at their house and I documented their sweet mother/daughter relationship - these two are peas in a pod - and if you are friends with either one of them, you are a lucky girl! They read stories, tickled toes, told secrets, danced, snuggled, and laughed the entire time.
I am always so happy to get to do sessions like this - where the goal is to document the relationship. One day your babies won't believe you were *that* young - or that they were *so* little that their feet could fit into your hands . . .
. . . or that their fingers were so tiny . . .
. . . or that you could cradle their whole body in your arms.
One day you'll want to be reminded of how you were once the most important thing in their world. Look at the way your girl looks at you, Shelby!
I love documenting the little things - like the way a mama's hand so easily rests on her child . . .
. . . and how at 2 years old you weren't quite able to make it onto the bed yourself . . .
. . . but your mama was right there to pull you up!
Motherhood is a messy, beautiful, powerful thing - it challenges you, brings you to tears, and makes you a better person (usually all in the same day!). Thank you, Shelby, for letting me document your beautiful little mess!
