After working with his Mama and Daddy at their beautiful maternity session - I was super excited to meet Baby Will. And since he showed up almost a month early, I got to meet him much sooner than expected!
We scheduled baby Will's in-home newborn session for about 2 weeks after his arrival. He was peacefully alert for about half of the session, and then he had a little snack and got wrapped up nice and tightly and fell fast asleep for the second half.
Babies are so peaceful and beautiful when they're sleeping, but I love when I can give Mama and Daddy some images of their little one trying to find them and look at them.
Doesn't Will have the most gorgeous nursery!? One of the reasons I love in-home newborn sessions so much is because we get to capture the details of baby's first home - and I know in 20 years my clients will be able to look back at these and remember how much they were looking forward to meeting their little one as they prepared their home for him.
It's not just your world that changes when baby comes home - pets and older siblings are also excited to meet their new person. When we do your newborn session in your home, we get to capture their authentic reaction to having a new baby in the house. I have a feeling that Scout and Will are going to become fast friends.
