This mama reached out to me to organize an in-home newborn session for her daughter, Helena and she had a specific date in mind. Helena came 3 weeks early and mama want to try to capture her newborn session on her expected due date That date was also important as Helena's grandmother, godmother, and aunt would all be visiting Washington, DC so we would have a chance to include them as well!
In addition to welcoming their new daughter, Helena's parents were in the middle of building their new home, so we decided to do this session in the AirBnB that everyone was staying in. It worked out perfectly!
What a beautiful family!! And little Helena is lucky enough to have 2 big sisters who were to teach her the ropes!
I love that Mama will forever have images of her snuggling her little baby girl - breathing her in and holding her close.
Look how proud this grandmother is - and what a treasured image this will one day be for Helena - cradled and admired by these 3 important women in her life.
I love the perspective it gives when I can capture baby cradled in Daddy's arms - look how tiny those hands and feet are!
Perfect little baby details! I am in awe of the perfection of every one of the newborns I am chosen to document.
